Taking paid surveys is a great way to make some quick cash from home, they may not make you a millionaire but they do come in handy for times where money is tight. This post is explores one of the sites that I regularly use to make extra cash called My Survey.
How to make extra money with my survey
My Survey isn’t one of the better paid survey sites that I use but I do still use it regularly. I find the surveys are very easy to complete, I tend to do the surveys while watching tv in the evening and the points do add up. If you’re looking for a better paid survey site then you could try Pinecone research who pay £3 for each survey you complete.
Survey earnings are a great way to save towards Christmas and Birthdays each year. Last year I even managed to pay for Christmas entirely with money and gift cards earned from surveys.
Completing surveys won’t make you a millionaire but they are fantastic to help save towards a big expense or even to get you through to payday. Surveys aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but the thing I like about them is that anyone can do them. They don’t take up a lot of time and you can pretty easily fit them in around other commitments.

Taking surveys with my survey
The surveys on My survey are super easy to complete. They range in time and points anywhere from 50 points for 10 minutes to 120 points for 25 minutes. They also have 7 day diary surveys where you spend 5 minutes each day filling in a diary on a particular subject. These are very easy to complete and they usually earn you 580 points which roughly converts into £5.
I find that although the payment per survey can be quite low with My survey, they do offer a lot of very regular surveys to complete. In fact I don’t think I have ever run out of surveys on there.
Payout
The payout process if very simple, they have a rewards tab where you can redeem your points. You can use your points to exchange into Paypal credit or a gift card. You can even convert your points into Nectar card points if that’s something you would use.
I tend to opt for Amazon gift vouchers as you get a little bit more for your points that way compared to Paypal credit. It’s always a really nice feeling having a nice stack of Amazon vouchers lined up ready for birthdays and Christmas.
