This weeks weekly meal plan is going to utilise what we have leftover in our fridge and freezer for our final no spend week.
Our weekly meal plan – 26th January 2018
I can’t believe our no spend month has gone so quick and I don’t even feel like we’ve missed out on anything! Although I am looking forward to topping up our freezer again with yellow stickered products.
Monday – Slow cooker jacket potatoes. I love doing jacket potatoes in the slow cooker, it saves putting the oven on for several hours and I always forget about them until it’s too late.
Tuesday – Homemade fish and chips. I will use up the breadcrumbs I have in the freezer for this although I might have to buy some fish fillets. Fingers are crossed that I can find some yellow stickered.
Wednesday – Veggie curry. A veggie curry is becoming a weekly thing at the moment. I love it though because I can use up odds and ends of veg I have left over. (see picture below).
Thursday – Chinese noodles. I’ll stir fry some mixed veg and mix with a sauce of some kind. I have soy sauce, honey and hoisin already in my cupboards and a few others so who knows what concoction I make.
Friday – Freezer food/leftovers. This is a bit of a Friday tradition where we eat up anything out of the freezer or leftover food in the fridge.
Saturday – Homemade pizzas. The kids love getting involved in making our homemade pizzas and I love the extra hands to help.
Sunday – Sausages and mash. Vegan sausages for myself and regular for the rest of the family.
Last nights tea 😍 was delish and super frugal. I Used up odds and ends of veg we needed eating up, a bit of garam masala and chopped tomatoes served on basmati rice then topped with fresh coriander. #frugalvegan #veganrecipes #veganuary2018 #veganuary #veganuk #frugalliving #frugalfood #frugalfoodie #frugallife #frugalista #ukmum #ukmoneybloggers #snaphappybritmums #frugalmum #frugalmama #bloggerfood #foodofinsta #picturesoffood #foodiegram #vegansofinstagram
