There are some awesome free iPhone apps that could help you save money on everyday purchases. From free groceries to money off your next meal out, I’ve listed some of my favourites!
iPhone apps that could help you save money
These are the apps which I regularly use on my iPhone. Some of these apps are also available on Android but I only have personal experience with iPhone so I’m not sure how they compare.
Shopmium is a cashback app, you buy your product scan it in and take a picture of your receipt and then Shopmium processes your claim and sends you your money. There are often freebies on the app and I’ve always received my cashback in my PayPal account within a few days.
CheckoutSmart is another app also offering cashback on products you purchase in store and online. Again there are often free products on offer just for taking a picture of your receipt.
Very similar to CheckoutSmart (I believe they are the same company?) Clicksnap offers cashback on many products. The only issue I find is receipts submitted to CheckoutSmart can’t then be used for Clicksnap so you will need to separate your shopping and get 2 receipts if you intend to use both apps.
Before buying anything online I always check Quidco to earn cashback, with the app it makes searching so much easier. Quidco can also be used instore if you register your card with them.
I hate it when I think I’ve found a really good deal but then get that ‘its too good to be true’ feeling. So I downloaded mySupermarket to check other store prices when I’m out and about.
Shoppix is another app you take pictures of your receipts for. It takes a while to accumulate enough points to ‘cash out’ but I still like popping my receipts in. Every little helps!
Again in store and online cashback, there is also a groceries tab with lots of money off deals there too. Topcashback is my favourite cashback site.
If you’re a regular Tesco, Sainsbury’s or Waitrose shopper you’ll love this app! GreenJinn often has new coupons available, I believe they update the coupons every week. Very easy to use, you simply buy your shopping then request your cashback.
9. O2 priority
This app is only for o2 customers although you may be able to get yourself a free sim to use. This app often has £1 meal deals as well as freebies, competitions and huge discounts.
Save money with discounts, vouchers, deals and competitions in store and online.
11. Voucher codes
Very similar to vouchercloud, very handy ‘nearby’ tab so you can find instore offers closest to you.
If you have an advantage card this app is a must! Personalised offers that you can load onto your advantage card and keep track of your points. Theres even a link to the online shop and a photo printing tab.
Personalised deals, money off coupons, prizes to be won and a rewards scheme option to join.
Linked to my Club card this keeps me updated on what coupons and vouchers I have available, what offers are available in store and how many points I currently have.
This app is connected to my More card and shows me my points earned, how I can earn extra points and lots of in store deals available to save money on groceries.
