Here is Our Weekly meal plan – 28th April 2018. Each week I link up with The Organised Life Project and Katykicker for this weekly meal plan linky. We’ve been a bit boring this week, we’re having very similar meals to last week while we’re trying to eat up what we already have.
Weekly meal plan – 28th April 2018
Monday – Pork chops/veggie sausages with mash and whatever veggies we have in the fridge/freezer/cupboard. I might even make some swede and carrot mash to go with this (I love swede and carrot mash).
Tuesday – Quiche, new potatoes and salad. I have some homemade pastry leftover in the freezer to use up. Filling will be made up of whatever I can find. I think we have some smoked salmon in the freezer leftover from Christmas that’ll go in there nicely.
Wednesday – Slow cooker chicken curry/ leftover veg curry from the freezer for me with basmati rice. I buy chicken thighs (or use leftover roast chicken) which work out really cheap to make a basic chicken curry. We add different spices and other ingredients each time.
Thursday – Pasta with whatever I can find to go with it. We have tuna and chopped tomatoes so maybe a tuna pasta bake of some sort.
Friday – Freezer food/leftovers, anything that needs eating up from the week.
Saturday – Not sure about Saturday this week. It will most probably be pizza again as we have all the ingredients (and you can never have enough pizza!).
Sunday – Roast Pork loin with roast potatoes, stuffing, lots of veg, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. I made some mango and apple chutney which will go alongside this really nicely.
As I already mentioned this week is a little boring as it’s so similar to last week. I’m determined to not do any shopping until next week though and get through what food we already have in first.
Your weekend meals sounds the best to me – love pizza and a good roast too! Thanks for linking up x
I should really have a freezer audit and make sure we eat up a load of stuff x
This is exactly what I did last week – I felt so virtuous at the end of it and we’d saved money! It still sounds like you have some lovely meals planned though. Thanks for linking up.
