This is our meal plan for this week, as usual it’s full of quick, simple and nutritious meals. I’ve picked lots of meals that are ready to go straight from the freezer this week to save time and energy. We have so many veggies in that I’ll decide on the day which need using first to avoid waste.
Our Weekly meal plan – 10th March 2018
Monday – Curry and rice, we still have some chicken and courgette curry frozen from 2 weeks ago so I’ll be using that up. I also have some veggie curry from last week which I made for myself so I’ll take a portion of that out. All I’ll need to do is boil up some rice to go alongside.
Tuesday – Bacon, leek & mushroom pie, I made enough pie filling in the slow cooker a couple of weeks ago to make another pie. I also have homemade pastry which I froze so that’s another super quick meal sorted! I will serve it alongside plenty of veggies.
Wednesday – Sausage and mash, we love sausage and mash! I use the Linda McCartney vegan sausages and the rest of the family have meat sausages. Served with mash and veggies.
Thursday – Pasta with pesto or a tomatoey sauce whatever we fancy on the night.
Friday – freezer food/leftovers, anything that needs eating up from the week.
Saturday – I’m still not sure about Saturday yet? Ideas are welcome to avoid us buying a takeaway!
Sunday – Roast chicken with all the trimmings. Roast potatoes, stuffing, roasted veggies, gravy etc. I will probably just not have the chicken and fill my plate up with the yummy veg.
I’m linking up with The Organised Life Project and Katykicker for this weekly meal plan linky.
Sounds like you’re going to have a pretty cheap week – but lots of nice meals!
