This is my first ever published online income report. I’m a little nervous but also excited that I will be sharing this with you. So here is my June 2018 Online Income Report.
June 2018 Online Income Report
I’ve thought a lot recently about publishing my online income report, and I do feel a bit nervous to be honest. Would I come across as bragging? Do I even make enough each month to justify an income report yet? But I’ve decided that publishing my income report could also motivate others in a similar position and that’s what I hope to achieve.
Since I started making money online my income has been fairly consistent, although I will admit this month has been very slow. I work part time around my family and make enough to live comfortably and contribute to my share of the household bills. I do have plans to build on my current income but these things often take a little time.
The kids are also in their last few weeks of school and that means there are lots of school activities for me to attend. Although I absolutely love this extra time with them it does mean I have less time for work.
This month has also seen some higher expenses because I pay for my Tailwind subscription yearly as it usually works out a little cheaper that way. So let’s get stuck into my June 2018 Online Income Report!
How much I made Blogging
As I said June has been an incredibly slow month work wise! I have had no sponsored posts come through and so my only blog income has been from affiliates.
I love affiliate marketing because of the passive income I can make. While I was at sports day with my children this year I was still making money from my blog.
Total made from Affiliates – £295.67
How much I made with Matched Betting
Although The World Cup is a great time to make extra money with matched betting I have struggled to fit it in around everything else this month. Having said that I’ve still made a good amount of money considering I only put in 10 minutes here and there.
Matched betting is one of my favourite side hustles. If you’ve never heard of it before it’s a great way to make extra tax and risk free cash. You can read my matched betting guide here – Matched Betting Guide: How to make tax free cash.
I thought it sounded really confusing until I took a free trial of Profit Accumulator in 2016 and really got stuck into it. Since then I’ve made over £10,000 from it.
Total made from Matched Betting – £301.20
How much I made from Surveys
On months where I have more time available I can easily make around £200 from surveys. This month however I’ve not made that much. I’m still happy with what I have achieved though and this money will most likely go towards the Christmas/holiday fund.
Prolific – £7.60
Pinecone – £9
Ipsos – £11.15
Populuslive – £50 cheque cashed
MySurvey – £5
Vypr – £5
Branded Surveys – £17.04
Citizen me – £2.02
Total made from surveys – £106.81
How much I made from Mystery Shopping
I incorporated some mystery shopping while I was out sourcing for my new eBay reseller business this month. I really enjoy mystery shopping and often have some delicious free lunches out because of it.
Marketforce – £7.25
Field Agent – £3
Total made from mystery shopping – £10.25
How much I made testing websites
A few times a month I get invited to test websites with Whatusersdo. I get paid £5 for each test I complete and this month I had 4 tests come through. Each test takes around 10-20 minutes to complete so it works out at a reasonable hourly rate.
Total made from testing websites – £20
Total made overall in June 2018 – £733.93
Expenses
I use Profit Accumulator for Matched betting. This means I can get more done in less time and considering the amount of money I make each month it’s worth the small cost.
Profit Accumulator membership – £17.99
Scheduling my Pins and Instagram posts is super easy with Tailwind. I pay for the service yearly because it works out a little cheaper that way.
Tailwind yearly subscription – £91.98
I use SmarterQueue to schedule my Twitter posts. I love this tool because I only have to set it up once and it automatically schedules tweets on a loop.
Smarterqueue monthly cost – £15.99
I use ConvertKit for my email marketing.
Convertkit monthly cost – £23.37
Total Expenses – £149.33
I haven’t included any of my personal eBay earnings or any costs for my new reseller business in my June 2018 online income report. I plan to talk more about my reselling journey in my reseller income reports over the next few months.
