As we say goodbye to 2020 and hello to new restrictions in 2021 (depending which tier you are in) money has become a tricky subject for some. If you are in need of making some extra money this year then read on. Here are 6 quick & easy ways to make money in 2021.

Quick & easy ways to make money in 2021
2020 was a strange year with lots of ups and downs. The most exciting thing for us though is that we have finally bought our first home! Buying a house has been on the cards for a good 4 years now. So we were certainly prepared for it. However our savings have dramatically reduced and I have set myself the goal of getting them back to what I consider a secure amount.
I’m currently at home with the children furloughed and no school for 6 weeks. I got to thinking about how I can raise some much needed extra cash in 2021. With the children being at home I don’t have hours to spare so here is my list of quick and easy ways to make money from home.
Matched betting
My number 1 go to for making extra money at home has got to be matched betting. Matched betting was one of the first ways I started making money from home. If you want to begin matched betting but don’t know where to start I would highly recommend Profit Accumulator. For anyone that doesn’t know, matched betting is a risk free and legal way to make money from bookmaker offers.
In my first 18 months of matched betting I made over £10,000 with Profit Accumulator. Their made simple videos make learning how to place your first bets so easy.

Time needed: From as little as 30 minutes per day.
Money making potential: Roughly £300 to £2000 per month (depending how much time you have available to put in).
Make money with survey sites
Survey sites are a bit like marmite, you either love them or hate them. A lot of people argue that the time taken to complete surveys is not worth the small amount of money you get paid. This is true however some surveys sites pay better than others.
Survey sites such as Pinecone surveys, YouGov and Populuslive all offer good money for time taken.
On a good month I managed to make £200 from survey sites alone. Occasionally they also offer product tests so it can be a great way to bag a freebie too.
Time needed: From as little as 10 minutes per day.
Money making potential: Roughly £20 to £200 per month depending on demographic.
Cashback sites
I find cashback sites the quickest and easiest way to make money. When we moved house I put everything I possibly could through cashback sites. From setting up BT broadband to all the necessary insurances. Christmas shopping all gets done through these sites too. In the last 6 months I’ve made over £350 in cashback.
Getting cash back is quick and easy. Instead of going straight to the website to order you just head to a cash back site such as Topcashback and click through to the website from there. Then you just complete your purchase as usual. On Topcashback they also have a ‘free cash back’ tab where you can earn without spending.
Time needed: Roughly 1 minute each time you shop online.
Money making potential: Roughly £100+ per year
eBay your old stuff
Now this one isn’t for everyone but most people tend to have something to sell. Toys, kids shoes and collectables are great things to sell on eBay but your best bet is to take a look around your house and see what you’ve got. After a bit of research some items may surprise you. Even items such as women’s old smelly shoes sell on eBay! Whether you feel comfortable selling such items is down to you to decide.
I know that with two children we always have items to sell. They go through clothes before they’ve worn through and the same with shoes. My two go through shoes before they even look like they’ve been worn at all. These sell brilliantly on eBay and go towards new ones.
Time needed: 5 minutes to list an item or two.
Money making potential: Depending on what you have to sell £50 per month+
Sell DVD’s, books and electronics
The things that don’t sell well on eBay I tend to sell through Music Magpie, Zapper, Ziffit or WeBuyBooks. I find these apps so much easier to sell through. A box of books can make anything from £5 to £20 depending on the books. The same with CD’s and DVD’s.
Old games consoles, phones, iPads and laptops will also sell much easier through a site like Music Magpie. This way you know the money you will get upfront and its a guaranteed sale.
Time needed: 1-1 1/2 hour to scan, pack up and plan collection.
Money making potential: Depending on what you’re selling £5-£20+ per box.
Snap receipts
There are a few receipt apps out there and none are massive payers but I still like to snap any receipts I get. Apps such as Shoppix, Receipt hog, HuYu and SnapMyEats all offer monetary rewards for taking pictures of your receipts.
Time needed: 30 seconds-1 minute per receipt.
Money making potential: Around £20 every 6 months – 1 year
