The internet is full of get rich quick schemes, the majority of which are scams. It can be difficult to find legitimate ways of making money. However while I’ve been improving my own finances I’ve discovered so many of them.
1. Sell on eBay
You’d be surprised at what actually sells on eBay! Start by selling your unwanted stuff and if you wanted to carry on earning from eBay you could start reselling.
2. Fill out online surveys
Online surveys are a great way to make some extra money. It’s not always very well paid but it can be done easily at home around any other commitments.

4. Try mystery shopping
Earn money for completing mystery shops. Often you’re reimbursed for any expenses and also paid a set amount on top. Check out Marketforce for mystery shops near you!

5. Sell on Mercari

Cleaning people’s homes is another great way to earn extra money. If your good at cleaning and you enjoy it you could make £8-£15 per hour depending on your location.
7. Become a Tutor
If you feel like you excel in a certain area why not help others with your expertise. It could be anything from music tuition to GCSE help.

If you live close to a train station you could rent out your drive to commuters.

I’m really not a fan of washing my car, I’m really terrible at it and it usually looks worse after I’ve done it! So if your good at washing cars and enjoy being outdoors this is a great way to earn some cash.
17. Car boot
If you have accumulated a lot of unwanted stuff it may be worth taking it to a car boot sale. You’re not going to get high prices unless you have some really rare finds but its an easy way to make cash instantly. Or alternatively if you can’t get to a car boot sale then hold your own yard/garage sale. Advertise on local Facebook pages and websites.

19. Sell Gold/Silver
