Our weekly meal plan – 26th May 2018
Monday – BBQ, its bank holiday so most likely BBQ or some sort of family get together if the weather isn’t great.
Tuesday – Salad with new potatoes, coleslaw and some kind of protein (not sure what just yet).
Wednesday – Homemade meat free lasagne. I use meat free mince to make this lasagne which is my little boys favourite! I’m dairy free so it’s so much cheaper and healthier to make my own red and white lasagne sauces with no dairy compared to buying. I think I have a yellow sticker ciabatta bread in the freezer to go alongside this too.
Thursday – Curry night. Chicken curry for the family and vegan veggie and bean curry for myself with rice, homemade mango chutney and maybe some homemade naan’s.
Friday – freezer food/leftovers, our opportunity to eat up from the fridge or freezer to prevent food waste.
Saturday – Homemade chinese fakeaway. Veggie noodles and maybe some fried rice with chicken balls for the family. I’ll probably get myself some vegetable spring rolls to go with mine!
Sunday – Roast dinner, I’m not sure what meat it will be yet but will include all the trimmings. Roast potatoes, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, plenty of veggies and gravy.
